4 people die from E. Coli outbreak
Four patients have died from the E. Coli outbreak, they were from California, Arkansas, New York and Minnesota.
CDC said that twenty-five more people have become sick from the E. Coli outbreak, with around 197 people affected from around 35 states.
Some people who were affected reported that they did not eat romaine lettuce but were in contact with people who were sick after eating the lettuce.
The new cases that have emerged involved patients who became sick three weeks back, when the lettuce was still being sold.
The U.S. Food And Drug Administration has said that the romaine lettuce is not being sold anymore because the harvest season for it is over.
The symptoms of the E. Coli infection can cause bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and severe stomach cramps.
