Airbnb is Offering Emergency Housing for California Wildfire Victims

Airbnb is urging homeowners in northern California to offer available rooms to victims and relief workers of the recent wildfires until October 30. The Atlas and Tubbs fires erupted on Sunday and have forced thousands of citizens to evacuate their neighborhoods.

People in southern California are asking for Airbnb to activate the disaster response in their area as well due to the rapid spread of the wildfires.

Airbnb has a history of opening homes in times of disaster, most recently doing the same for victims of hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
