Alyssa Milano Shut Down Matt Damon’s Attempt to Excuse Sexual Harassment

via Cosmopolitan

Matt Damon had a blunder during an interview with ABC News, and it was just a spiraling path to destruction.

Damon began the train wreck by claiming different types of harassment deserve different types of outrage: “There’s a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right?” He said. “Both of those behaviors need to be confronted and eradicated without question, but they shouldn’t be conflated, right?”

But then he decided to throw Louis C.K. into the mix, and actually seemed to be telling the public he deserves a second chance. “I don’t imagine he’s going to do those things again,” he said. “You know what I mean? I imagine the price that he’s paid at this point is so beyond anything that he—I just think that we have to kind of start delineating between what these behaviors are.”

His ridiculous comments sparked outrage, particularly from actress Alyssa Milano who has not been silent on the #MeToo campaign.

More of this.
