Comedian Amy Schumer has made a lot of people laugh over the years, and someone got the idea that audiences might want to recreate that experience whenever they can wrangle up an Internet connection.
Thus, Netflix has announced that a new Schumer stand-up special will air on the streaming service. The stand-up set was taped November 5 at Denver’s Bellco Theater and is set to premiere March 7. (That’s pretty close to my birthday. Should I plan a b-day/viewing party and invite Amy and her friends?)
Ever the opportunist, Schumer said in a statement, “Very happy to be a part of the Netflix family for this special Maybe now they will look at my Stranger Things audition tape to play the demogorgon for Season 2.”
