An Image Of A Cop Saving A Cat From The LA Wild Fires Has Gone Viral

The hearts of pet owners and animal lovers everywhere were touched after the LA Police Department shared a photo of this cop saving a cat from the wildfires that are ravaging the area.  The unnamed officer is pictured rescuing a cat, as he helps firefighters with evacuations from the Skirball Fire and Creek Fire on Wednesday.

The Department shared this message along with the powerful image:

“For some it might just be a cat. But to others it’s a friend, a loved one, a companion. The #LAPD has a motto, “To Protect and to Serve”, and our officers have been displaying that in many ways during the #CreekFire & #SkirballFire”

The photo and its message soon went viral.

Many thanked the officer and all of those helping in rescuing people and animals from the devastating fires.

Many hoped that the rescued kitty would be reunited with its family, while others were willing to take the kitty in.

Lets hope everyone stays safe during, including the animals.
