Apple will be bringing their Animoji feature to FaceTime and iPads as part of the new iOS 12 update. This will allow customers to use the characters and place them over their faces when they FaceTime (similar to what they can do on Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram).
According to Bloomberg, the new software, called “Peace,” will allow Apple to bring the Animoji to iOS users along with a universal app. The app will be on iPhones, iPads, and Macbooks. The latest update will also have new additions to the Do Not Disturb tool and the stocks app.
There will also be improvements to the home screen for the iPhone, iPads, and CarPlay that will be add at a later date. iPad users will have to wait another year for major updates in the device’s software.
Microsoft is planning to release tabs as part of their Window 10 app.
Apple will reveal a Pencil and mute feature at a later date.
I’m personally pretty excited for all the new additions that Apple has coming, as Animoji has been a major hit for users.
