As someone who has gone 24 years, 5 months, 18 days of living without seeing Beetlejuice, I never understood the love that some people have for it. Apparently this has been a thing in the making for quite some time, but just now got the green light to go forward. The play is backed by Warner Brothers Theater Venture, who are still licking their wounds from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory mishap.
If you’re a die-hard fan, you can catch the show at the National Theater in D.C. before the show gets picked up for New York showings.
