We live in a world where, like small children, our parents are figuring out how to use social media–and it’s embarrassing. It is now a matter of trying to control that embarrassment and keep it to a minimum.
Well it seems even super celebrities aren’t immune to this first-world problem. If you’re a fan of Beyoncé or Solange, then you are probably aware of their mother, Tina Lawson, and her social media presence. She is infamous for her “Corny Joke Time” segment on Instagram. In her most recent edition of “Corny Joke Time”, she adresses Beyoncé and what she thinks about her mom’s jokes.
“You know, Beyoncé was telling me the other day that I shouldn’t do corny jokes all the time but I told her that when you get my age, you gotta find your light,” Lawson explained. “So if you find some good light, you’re supposed to take advantage of it. I’ve done quite a few in one spot so I could have them but it’s okay, I’m 63, what can I say,” she said.
Lawson, unlike the rest of the planet, doesn’t care what Beyoncé has to say and is going to continue with her corny jokes.
Good Morning Sunshines❤️Happy Thursday. haha You guys are misunderstanding what I was saying, or I didn’t explain it well. Beyonce was saying it’s obvious mama that you are videoing several jokes at a time . ( on the same day) you don’t have to put one out everyday. When I said good light I meant literally good light!!! Gods light! Haha not a spiritual lite. So I was saying if I look okay in the light I’m going to video several at the same time. My children never try to take my light from me. But I don’t t think anyone likes their mom on instagram 😀do you?
