Saturday Night Live has been on television for over 40 seasons, which cements it as one of the funniest show to ever be on the air. SNL alum Bill Hader recently went on Ellen to talk about his new show Barry, and he reminisced about one memory from his SNL days quite fondly.
While sitting in the audience for Kate McKinnon’s audition, Bill was informed of SNL head honcho Lorne Michael’s ban on laughter in audition. But that didn’t stop him from cracking up while Kate was on stage. Lorne had no choice but to remove Bill from the audience.
You know when you want to laugh the most? When you’re told you can’t. Bill, we don’t blame you.
