I don’t know how this makes me feel. On the one hand, I worship Blue Ivy, on the other, I think it should have been me as Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter.
Anyway, Blue Ivi donned a beautiful gold wig and made her way over to her grandmother’s gala on Sunday night. Meanwhile I was eating ice cream and watching Hallmark movies. But whatever.
This Sunday, Tina Knowles Lawson and Richard Lawson hosted the 3rd annual Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles. Obviously Blue and Beyoncé showed up in matching gold outfits.
The Queen received the 2018 Waco Theater Humanitarian Award and got a personal “I love you” video message from Michelle Obama. And Blue? Well, during the live auction, Blue made a $19,000 bid on a painting of a young Sidney Poitier.
According to Vanity Fair, Blue was sadly outbid because Jay-Z jokingly grabbed her paddle from her before she could place a higher bid.
Don’t worry though. After she lost out on that, Blue made a winning $10,000 another piece of art.
Ah, to be young and rich.
