As Hurricane Irma approaches, Jet Blue is capping prices on flights out of Florida at $99.
The move comes at a time when many companies are engaging in price gouging. United Airlines appears to be charging between $1,000 and $7,000 for flights from Florida to Denver, CO, for example.

Another screenshot from Delta’s website shows a ticket from Miami to Phoenix jumping from $547.50 to $3,258.50.
Totally fucked up and unacceptable. Boycott DELTA AIRLINES. These are people's lives. pic.twitter.com/8ptYPS8Gc7

Other airlines appear to be offering travel waivers, but Jet Blue is the only one capping prices.
The move is both a savvy PR maneuver and, happily, the right thing to do.
