When Kate Middleton became engaged to Prince William back in November 2010, she was photographed wearing a sapphire wrap dress that ended up turning so many heads that afterwards the dress sold out almost immediately. And the company that had designed the dress, Issa London, had to close down on account of their inability to keep up with the demand.
Eight years later, Issa London has reopened at the British store House of Fraser where it is now selling Kate’s Tie Wrap dress in green. More colors for the Tie Wrap are on their way as well. While the first dresses, seen on Kate Middleton, sold for $600, the new retail price is considerably more reasonable at $140.
Issa is also designing another style that is similar to the one sported by Middleton back in 2010. This style features a fitted skirt rather than a flowing one and is available in black, royal blue, and red. Good news. House of Fraser delivers internationally too, so no need for a flight to England to snag a dress for yourself.
