Dress Like the Stars: Sophia Bush

Welcome back to our weekly dose of Dress like the Stars for a fraction of the cost. Summer is winding down (thank the sweet Jesus!), so you still have a chance to rock some summer outfits before it starts to get chilly. And while we are getting close to September, let’s be honest there are days in September when you can usually still wear summer clothes like shorts and tank tops because it’s humid or the weather is just perfectly cool.

Chicago P.D. star, Sophia Bush stepped out in Hollywood a few years ago wearing a cute and chic outfit that included a bright yellow skirt, gray tank top, and a tweed jacket. It sounds like it wouldn’t work, but the outfit does in fact look good. Check out how you can recreate a similar look without breaking the bank.

TOP

You can opt for either a gray tanktop or gray short sleeve shirt like the heather gray tee available at Target from Merona. The gray top is a perfect match for the tweed jacket. I love big and bulky tweed jackets for a more bohemian look. But if you want a sleek look like Sophia, check out Nordstrom Rack’s Blanc Noir asymmetric tweed jacket.

SKIRT

Get this similar look with a classic mini skirt in yellow. Missguided has a cute faux leather yellow mini skirt for just $28.80.

SHOES
If you are going for a night out on the town and want to show off your legs I would suggest cute strappy sandals like Steven by Steve Madden. Or you can also for a more relaxed look with some black and white color block flats.

ACCESSORIES

Finish off the outfit with a studded small clutch. I like the round studded clutch from Rumba, because it is unlike the classic studded clutch. You can get this clutch for just $20 and if you are feeling adventurous they also have the clutch in sky blue a light shade of green.
