Driving licenses are being issued to women for the first time in Saudi Arabia
On 24th June, Saudi Arabia lifted its rule on female drivers by allowing them to drive.
The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is responsible for this change who is determined to modernize Saudi Arabia.
Driving licenses are being issued for the first time in years.
The official Saudi Press Agency said, “The first group of women today received their Saudi driving licenses.”
It also added, “The general directorate of traffic started replacing international driving licenses recognized in the kingdom with Saudi licenses.”
