Not everyone is happy with the hyped-up film Suicide Squad.
Redditor BlackPanther2016 has posted to Reddit threatening to sue Warner Bros. and DC for false advertising after seeing Suicide Squad and realizing that the movie trailer contained more Joker scenes than the film itself.
Jared Leto’s portrayal of the notorious Joker was the top selling point for the new anti-hero flick, with his face and likeness plastered all over every poster and promotional fodder leading up to the release. The character is featured prominently in every trailer, yet in the actual movie itself his screen time totals around 15 minutes.
“My brother (who is a lawyer) and I are going to sue WB and DC for false advertising, misleading visual images and gaining a profit from us and millions of others due to this act,” wrote the Redditor, I assume in between swigs of Mountain Dew.
According to their post (no telling if this person is male or female), they drove 300 miles to see the movie and then demanded a refund when they complained to the theater about the “unjust act.” They were promptly kicked out of the theater.
