Fast and Furious 8 is happening. Amidst rumors that the franchise wouldn’t continue after the death of star Paul Walker, Vin Diesel confirmed its return at CinemaCon. Considering the insane amount of money Furious 7 made, it would only make sense to make another installment.
“We’re going to make the best movie you’ve ever seen,” Diesel said during an emotional speech at CinemaCon. Diesel also talked about his time with friend and co-star Paul Walker saying, “The last time I was on this stage I was with my brother Pablo. It’s hard for me to even watch that clip and then come out here without being emotional.”
Fast and Furious 8 has been dated for April 14, 2017.
