It’s so funny to me that people still care about celebrities having plastic surgery. “OMG the Kardashians have fake butts, blah blah.” First of all, the general public holds celebrities to a crazy standard of beauty. Second of all, who cares? It’s not your butt!
That being said, I do appreciate when celebrities are honest about the work they’ve had done. Tyra Banks has received speculation over the years about whether or not she’s gone under the knife. While many seem to think it’s her breasts or age-defying work such as Botox, it’s actually neither! Banks fixed up her nose in her younger years.
“I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching,” Banks told People. “I could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery. I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth.” She said she hasn’t had “age stuff” done yet, and doesn’t judge people who do. “Fix it or flaunt it — I think women should be able to do both,” she said.
The model believes in cosmetic freedom, whether women prefer to go natural or alter their appearances. Banks told People, “As a model, I needed makeup. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” she said. “It leveled my playing field., you don’t need it? I do! And we’re both modeling for Victoria’s Secret.”
Can we just start letting people do whatever they want?
