During a behind closed doors meeting, South Korea’s National Intelligence Service disclosed that a cyst, which was found between May and June of this year on Kim’s right ankle, was operated on along with a repair of tarsal tunnel syndrome by European experts.

North Korean state media published pictures of Kim walking with a cane on October 14, 2014. Kim, whose last public appearance was at a concert on September 3, did not attend the 65th anniversary of Worker’s Party of North Korea raising concerns and speculation.

Earlier on this year, Kim was seen limping. According to the former doctor to Kim’s grandfather (Kim iI-Sung), Dr. Kim So-Yeon, Kim has a number of health issues including psychological problems. He suffers from diabetes, obesity, heart problems and stress.

Furthermore, the South Korean lawmakers were told that the political purge which started with the execution of Kim’s uncle Jang Song Thek is still ongoing where members have been executed by a firing squad for viewing South Korean soap operas. They are also accused of being corrupt and having issues curving their love for woman.

Kim was seen apparently in good health but no video has yet been released.
