If you’re super rich and super bored, here’s something you can do: shop for Gucci clothing and accessories and have them delivered to your door in an hour and a half.
London-based fashion technology company Farfetch and Gucci have teamed up to bring fashion to your door like it’s Chinese food.
Farfetch announced the partnership Wednesday, as is dubbing it “The Store of the Future.”
Here’s how it works.
Customers can go on FarFetch’s app or website and shop for Gucci items. Then the orders will be at their door in 90 minutes from Gucci stores in London, New York, Dubai, Los Angeles, Madrid, Miami, Milan, Paris, Sao Paulo and Tokyo.
Jose Neves, Farfetch’s founder and CEO said,
“Retailers need a way to collect information about their customers while they are browsing in-store, just as they collect data from online searches.”
Yeah, I get it. It’s cool. But really?
