Bella Thorne has come under fire after posting a since deleted twee complaint of the traffic caused by the Southern California mudslides. Apparently Thorne was on her way to her rapper boyfriend Mod Sun’s concert, and the mudslides were causing her to miss the first date of his tour.
After realizing her mistake, Thorne posted a second tweet saying “F— just caught up on some news had no idea why the 101 was shut down…get home to your family safe.”
Thornes tone deaf tweet received a lot of backlash from people on social media, including actor Rob Lowe, who posted a screen shot of Thrones tweet captioning it with: “This attitude is why people hate celebrities/Hollywood. Bella, I’m sorry you were inconvenienced. We will try to move out our dead quicker.”
Officers are still looking for 43 missing individuals, who have gone missing since the California mudslides spilled onto the land which was recently torched in the historic wildfires last month, which claimed the lives of at least 17 people and injuring dozens more.
Recently this week the actress opened up about being sexually abused for years in an Instagram post. “I was sexually abused and physically growing up from the day I can remember till I was 14,” she wrote. “When I finally had the courage to lock my door at night and sit by it. All damn night. Waiting for someone to take advantage of my life again. Over and over I waited for it to stop and finally it did.”
