Google Street View Puts You Right In The Middle Of The World’s Largest Model Train Set

I’ve always found model train sets to enjoyable, particularly ones that mimic real-world locations/cities.  They give you a sense of scale of how big our own society is, among other things.

The folks working at Google Street View seem to agree, and now give you the chance to explore the Miniatur Wunderland of Hamburg, Germany; the largest model train set in the world.

The cameras have been miniaturized as a result of a collaboration between Google and Ubilabs.  The video below is truly remarkable and beyond being really cool for making the viewer feel like he/she is actually in a model train set, it also shows what an amazing piece of art the Miniatur Wunderland really is.
