The HBO Hackers Have Uploaded Unaired ‘Game of Thrones’ Episodes, as Well as Employee’s Personal Info

In case you missed it, HBO got hacked yesterday, and the extent of the damage of what was stolen has been revealed today.

Several unaired episodes of HBO shows had been leaked, and posted to a site called “Winter Leak.” The shows include episodes of Game of Thrones, Ballers, Room 104, Barry, and Insecure. Besides the episodes, HBO employees’ personal information was leaked to the site as well.

The website is currently not loading, but this screen grab shows some of the contents that were listed on the site before:

There’s the ominous “To be continued” written at the bottom, so we may not have seen the last of the leaks yet.

HBO issued a statement about the hacks, saying “We immediately began investigating the incident and are working with law enforcement and outside cybersecurity firms. Data protection is a top priority at HBO, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect the data we hold.”

I wonder if you can find that episode of Game of Thrones somewhere else on the Internet. Sunday’s far away, man.

Stay tuned for more on the HBO hacks.
