It seems like traffic is awful anywhere you go. After a long day of work, sitting through traffic during the commute home is awful. So one man in China decided to take matters into his own hands.
By painting new arrows at a busy intersection, the man, Cai, hoped to alleviate congestion. Cai hoped his bus would be able to pass through the intersection without any problems. Local police were not so impressed.
Cai was fined 1,000 yuan, roughly $151, and the road was repainted the same day.
Well, at least he tried.
