On Thursday’s Jeopardy!, in response to the clue, “A recent vinyl resurgence has been aided by this musician, who built a pressing plant in his Detroit hometown” a confused contestant answered with “Eminem” instead of the correct response of “Jack White.” The answer baffled many, since to make things easier they even included a photo of the musician, but apparently reporter/balloon twister Julie isn’t too familiar with the rocker.

And the mistake isn’t an easy one to make, since one musician falls into the category of rock, while the other raps. Also, I don’t think Eminem would ever rock a fedora and goatee in this lifetime, so I’m still confused as to how he was the first thing to come to Julie’s mind when seeing Jack White’s image.
A few folks had a field day with it on Twitter:
Julie, who writes for the Washington Post, tried to defend herself by pointing to a Jeopardy! fan account which explained how difficult it is for contestants to see the photos from the podium. But she did maintain a sense of humor regarding the whole mix up.
The Jeopardy! Fan figured it out! I had no idea there was a photo to turn and look at. I'm glad I provided some laughs! https://t.co/kHLxpKlGvI

But I think we can all easily pick out who the real Slim Shady is, and he’s definitely not some rocker who wears a fedora and has a black goatee.
