To quote Rocky Balboa, “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” Reportedly, some senior Republicans are getting up early, eating their raw eggs, and running the stairs as they write another draft of the pulled health care law.
Members of the House GOP are apparently revising the health care amendment, and a vote could come as early as next week. However, no vote has been formally scheduled, which signifies the lack of consensus on this new revision.
What the Republicans to have planned is a conference call on Saturday to discuss the healthcare law among other issues. We’ll see just how ready this new health care revision is when Congress returns from it’s Easter recess on Tuesday. Will the Republicans hold their own in the ring, or emerge bruised and bloody at the hands of the man in the star-spangled shorts?
