The Animaniacs are back, so you will soon be able to watch Yakko, Wakko and Dot on Hulu in their new revival series, with Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer for a two-season straight-to-series order. The new series will focus on the Warner brothers and their Warner sister, and will premiere in 2020.

These mischievous and chaos-causing siblings have been locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower for some time, and now in each episode they’ve found ways to escape and wreak havoc in the city. Fan favorites like Pinky and the Brain will also be making a return.

In addition to news concerning the new series, Hulu and Warner Bros. Domestic Television have also made a pact making Hulu the exclusive streaming platform for the complete library of all 99 episodes of the original Animaniacs, as well as Pinky and the Brain, Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain, and the complete Tiny Toon Adventures collection.

“I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu,” said Spielberg. “Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. I am also excited that the full library of Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures episodes are included in the deal.”

The original Animaniacs debuted in 1993, and became one one the most popular animated shows for children. It set the record for most Daytime Emmy Awards in the field of Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for any animated series, winning the award three times. The series also has amassed a huge adult fanbase, so when it returns it’s sure to be well received by all age groups.
