Teens come up with the weirdest yet fascinating challenges. First, it was flipping water bottles so that they would stand upright, something that the youths consider a talent. Then, there was the mannequin challenge in which everyone stood still in creative position set to the sound of the popular “Black Beatles.”
Now, teens are attempting to stay in the night in furniture giant IKEA, like these kids in the video above. Though it might sound awesome in theory (Imagine jumping on all of those beds!), like most cool things, it’s actually illegal, and IKEA wants people to stop with these illegal sleepovers.
A spokesperson for Ikea in the UK told BuzzFeed News: “We appreciate that people are interested in Ikea and want to create fun experiences, however the safety and security of our co-workers and customers is our highest priority and that’s why we do not allow sleepovers in our stores.”
Anyone captured will be sentenced to assembling a bookcase with their significant other.

IKEA should embrace this, & host teen slumber-disco parties. Who do they think their future customers are going to be?

Luckily, IKEA hasn’t ruled out the concept of approved sleepovers. The spokeswoman added that the company would “welcome anybody” with ideas for creating an event at a store to “contact us so that we can discuss it together in advance.”
