Jaime Lannister Says “It’s Not Going To End Well” For Him After That Epic Last ‘Game of Thrones’ Scene

Last night’s Game of Thrones episode was a major cliffhanger.

So remember last week when Jaime Lannister thought he pulled one over on Daenerys Targaryen?

Basically the unsullied went to take Casterly Rock and figured they would be fighting the Lannister army. And the did, but only like a third of it. Instead, Jaime took the army to overtake Highgarden and Euron Greyjoy, who leads the Lannister naval forces, burned the unsullied ships.

Obviously Daenerys wasn’t going to take that shit.

So, while Jamie and co. were going back to King’s Landing after taking Highgarden, Daenerys showed up with a massive Dothraki army and Drogon, her dragon.

Needless to say, Dany, the Dothraki, and Drogon fucking destroyed everyone including Jamie Lannister. In the last scene, Jaime was charging towards Daenerys and Drogon saw. Drogon nearly burned Jamie to death, but someone intervened and threw Jaime into the ocean instead. The last scene sees Jamie possibly drowning, but we’re not sure if he’s actually dead.

After the new episode aired, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, told Entertainment Weekly it’s not looking good for his character.

Coster-Waldau said:

Jaime is such an idiot that he thinks for a second, ‘If I can do this, I can win the whole thing in a Hail Mary’… It’s not going to end well for Jaime Lannister, I can’t imagine.

So, ummm. What does that mean?

Is Jaime really dead?

I guess we’ll have to wait till next Sunday to see.
