Jimmy Kimmel is at it again, ripping Donald Trump a new one following yet another ridiculous statement by the president.
The late night host addressed a Vanity Fair article which revealed that Trump told his security chief, “I hate everyone in the White House.” What a wonderful thing for the “leader” of the country to say.
But fear not! The White House cleared all this up by issuing a statement that said, “The president’s mood is good and his outlook on the agenda is very positive.” We can all take a collective sigh of relief because this clearly means that everything is totally okay.
Of course, the White House denies the fact that Trump hates everyone, but Kimmel did point out that chief of staff John Kelly dreads his position and is only sticking it out to prevent Trump from doing something monumentally stupid. This can mean one of two things: either Kelly is really not doing a great job of restraining Donnie, or we haven’t seen the worst of what Trump has to offer. Honestly, there’s a good chance that it’s a little bit of both.
Kimmel also addressed Trump’s tweet in which he attacked the “Fake News” media, NBC in particular, and asked, “at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License?”
Kimmel responded with a solid, “Never, that’s what dictators do.”
He followed this up with a bit in which he changed every “fake” in Trump’s tweets to “true,” and every “dishonest” with “honest.” Check it out below, because it’s pretty awesome. (There’s also a bonus “Drunk Donald Trump” segment that’s equally worth your attention.)
