Jimmy Kimmel, the unexpected hero of the fight for healthcare, is still looking out for you: he wants to make sure you’re having safe sex.
Kimmel was responding to new reports that STD levels in the United States are at an all-time high. Last year, there were more than two million reported cases of syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.
“They say a number of factors are fueling this new epidemic,” Kimmel said, “but mostly it comes down to Tinder and Bachelor in Paradise.”
Kimmel’s crew went out and asked strangers in LA if they were carrying a condom. Before their answers were revealed, he had his audience guess whether they were or not.
Oh, and one of the people was Weird Al.
