Joshua Kushner Donates $50,000 to the March for Gun Reform

The upcoming march on gun reform, March For Our Lives, has received a lot of both media attention and monetary donations. The event was organized almost entirely by students, and is set to occur March 24th in D.C. Many people of note have donated to the cause, such as George & Amal Clooney’s generous gift of $500,000. But now, another big name has single handedly pledged $50,000, much to the White House’ dismay: Joshua Kushner. Yes, as in Jared Kushner’s brother.

The venture capitalist, who just happens to be the brother of one of Trump’s advisers, could not have come at a better time. As Trump gets ready to form legislation to arm teachers in schools, Kushner has donated the money to reform gun laws. Nothing like a little family rivalry.

Joshua seems to like opposing his brother, as this is not the first time he’s given his efforts to a cause that goes against the White House. He also played a role in trying to expand Obamacare, as well as donated to the left-winged website ActBlue.

When shootings are on the rise, the problem would seem to be resolved by stripping guns. But Trump decided we need more guns. A positive plus a positive equal a negative, right?
