The Baltimore jury in the trial of William Porter has taken an interesting turn as it tells the judge it’s “deadlocked.” The judge has ordered them to continue to deliberate, however this trial could have implications in the later trials. Porter’s case is one of the weakest, as he is being tried for what he didn’t do, not what he did. Porter faces multiple counts the most serious being manslaughter. The judge had desired the trial be concluded by December 17th, this Thursday. If the jury cannot come to a consensus a mistrial would be declared.
