Damn. I smell a Netflix show coming.
Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos announced that police seized 12 tons of cocaine. The seize is the biggest in the history of Colombia. 400 anti-narcotics police infiltrated four farms where they discovered the drugs being stored underground.
President Santos said,
“Never before, since we began more than 40 years ago to fight against drug trafficking, have we made a seizure of this magnitude.”
Police estimated the value of the seize to be $360 million.
The cocaine belonged to Dario Antonio Usuga, alias “Otoniel”, head of Colombia’s largest drug-trafficking gang, the Gulf Clan.
