When McDonald’s first debuted its buttermilk crispy tenders, they didn’t anticipate just how popular they would get.
The fan favorite is now sold out, resulting in McDonald’s having to pull it from its menu. But don’t worry, it’s not permanent.
A McDonald’s representative told TODAY Food, “Our customers are lovin’ our new buttermilk crispy tenders. Because demand far surpassed our expectations, we will soon take a brief break from serving them at our restaurants.”
Fans were saddened by the news that crispy tenders were no longer an option.
We're out of Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, but working to restock all stores SOON!

Don’t go to McDonald’s and order the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Tenders. You’ll get shut down by the cashier lady who shows no mercy…

Hopefully the brief discontinuation of the buttermilk crispy tenders won’t cause an uprising, like the Szechuan sauce did. In the last season of Rick and Morty, it mentioned the discontinuation of Szechuan sauce from McDonalds in a joke, which got fans craving the tangy discontinued sauce. McDonald’s ended up selling a limited amount of the sauce, but when they ran out people became outraged. So lets cross our fingers that there won’t be any riots in any McDonald’s drive-thrus concerning the buttermilk crispy tenders.
