Medical Marijuana Company Donating $40,000 Worth of Weed to California Wildfire Victims

After northern California was ravaged by wildfires starting on Sunday night, people from all over the state and elsewhere have been doing their part to help aid in the recovery.

This now includes Be Kind Flower and CannaCraft’s AbsoluteXtracts, a weed company which will be donating $40,000 worth of medical marijuana to those displaced by the fires. On Wednesday, the company announced that they will be collaborating with Mercy Wellness and several local dispensaries to distribute a Be Kind premium flower or an AbsoluteXtracts vape pen to victims.

Along with the complimentary weed, CannaCraft is in the process of converting its Santa Rosa headquarters into a shelter for evacuees and first responders. They aim for the shelter to be open by this weekend and will be housing up to 80 people.

In a statement issued by the company, they said, “We will continue to evaluate all of our resources including vehicles, property, facilities, equipment, and product to determine how to best serve our community during this time.”

Although the Santa Rosa headquarters is located near to where the wildfires took place, their manufacturing facility was not harmed. Unfortunately, the came cannot be said of some of the company’s employees who have lost their homes to the wildfires.

If you are in the affected area, you’ll be able to find the medical cannabis at the following locations:

Sparc and Peace in Medicine in Santa Rosa, California

Emerald Pharms in Hopland, California

Mercy Wellness in Cotati, California

Solful in Sebastopol, California
