Ready to watch all the Apple sheep sprint to the closest store and by the new iPhone 8 in September? It’s probably the most annoying time of the year for everyone except those rich bastards. Apple is already putting drool in the mouths of these people because reports have surfaced that there will be new Augmented Reality features in the upcoming iPhone.

Bloomberg has reported on many features the new iPhone could bring. Here is an description of one of them:

One of the features Apple is exploring is the ability to take a picture and then change the depth of the photograph or the depth of specific objects in the picture later; another would isolate an object in the image, such as a person’s head, and allow it to be tilted 180 degrees. A different feature in development would use augmented reality to place virtual effects and objects on a person, much the way Snapchat works.

Apple is looking to start small in terms of AR and CEO Tim Cook has talked multiple times about his belief in the technology. It is probable Apple will bring many more implementations of AR in the near future.
