Just like the short story by Donald Barthelme, a giant balloon has been roaming the streets, confusing residents of London.
Apparently, the balloon appeared in honor of the Lumiere Light art festival in London, and was placed above Oxford Circus. That is all fine and well, except for the fact it was installed to suspend during rush hour on a very windy day.
People started to become concerned about the balloon’s proximity to buildings and buses as it posed a hazard. At one point it stopped traffic and police had to handle the situation.
