Honestly, I didn’t need someone else to tell me that bacon is the food of the Gods, but it’s good to know I’m not crazy.

Susannah Mushatt Jones turned 116 this past July. On July 3, 2015, Jones was named the oldest living person in the world. So, what’s her secret to living such a long life? Bacon, apparently.

Jones told the New York Post, she eats bacon every day for breakfast and continues to snack on bacon throughout the day.

Also, Ms. Jones is my spirit animal.

Although she eats her body weight in bacon, Jones told Guinness World Records she surrounds herself with love and positive energy and that’s the key to a long life. I’m sure the fact that she’s never had a drink, or smoked, or partied, or colored her hair, or basically done anything else helps, too.
