Petition With Over 680K Signatures For Snapchat to Change Back to Their Old Design

Snapchat is getting major push back over their new design by their users.

There is an petition on Change.org with over 680,000 signatures for the company to change the design the back to the old one.

Nic Rumsey from Australia is behind the petition.

The petition’s statement on charge.org reads,

With the release of the new Snapchat update, many users have found that it has not made the app easier to use, but has in fact made many features more difficult.

There is a general level of annoyance among users and many have decided to use a VPN app to go back to the old Snapchat.

The new additions are being called pointless and don’t live up to original mission statement by the mobile app, according to upset users.

Snapchat’s old design had three categories: Chat, Stories, and Discover. However, with the latest update, the company got rid of the Stories feed, turned Chat and Stories into one, and called it Friends. Discover now has accounts from organizers and the public.

Comments about the new update have been harsh,

“The update is wack,” wrote one individual. “I miss the old Snapchat. I hate the new Snapchat,” said one user.

“This is worse than the fucking Black Plague we need snap back,” said another user.

With so much negative feedback, I assume that Snap Inc will make the decision to go back to the old version instead of losing users.
