The poster for the third final Wolverine movie is finally out, giving expectant fans the film’s title, release date, and a hint as to what the film may be about.
Look at it!

Based on the post-credits scene from X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, Wolverine will probably be facing off against Mister Sinister, a villain from the X-Men universe of the “mad scientist” variety. Given this, and the child’s hand in the poster, it’s very possible that this film will introduce the character of X-23. For those of you who aren’t up on your Wolverine lore, X-23 is a clone of Wolverine’s who is raised in captivity and trained as a weapon.
Of course, all of this is speculation because director James Mangold is keeping everything hush-hush. Even Hugh Jackman, who has admitted to being terrible at keeping secrets, isn’t saying much. “Basically it’s going to be different,” he told ET Online. “Very different in tone and hopefully to anything we’ve done.”
Logan is scheduled to premiere on March 3, 2017.
