‘Pretty Woman’ is Headed to Broadway

Look out world, the 90s classic Pretty Woman is headed to Broadway. The romantic comedy originally starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, is set to debut as early as March 2018.

Currently headlining the show are actors Samantha Barks (Vivian) and Steve Kazee (Edward), with casting still being held for the role of “important salesgirl.” The show is to be directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, best known for La Cage aux Folles and Kinky Boots.

As of now the show is expected to span a five week out of town tryout at Chicago’s Oriental Theater prior to the Broadway premier.
