Razer, best known as a developer of high-performance game hardware and software, is branching out into the phone industry. Or at least, that’s what this teaser makes us think, as it shows a man holding a phone-sized device.
According to their website, Razer will be launching the product on November 1, taunting us with the tagline, “Watch our biggest unveiling…” They also took to Twitter to tell us the same thing.

SVP of Razer Tom Moss also tweeted a photo of him and CEO Tan Min Liang. Take a real close look at Tan’s pocket…

Looks kinda like a phone with the Razer logo on it, right?
It’s possible that some of us could’ve seen this coming, though. Earlier this year, Razer acquired Nextbit, who made the crowdfunded Android smartphone Robin. All of Nextbit’s employees transferred over to Razer upon the acquisition, giving the gaming company a team of phone experts to add to their repertoire.
Upon bringing Nextbit into Razer, Tan had said, “With the talent that Nextbit brings to Razer, we look forward to unleashing more disruption and growing our business in new areas.”
With all of these tiny hints in place, it’s gonna be a lot of fun to see what November 1 has in store for tech fans.
