Rex Tillerson will now join the list of losers fired from the White House administration. His stint lasted much longer than most others, i.e. Scaramucci, Flynn, and Price. However, being on Trump’s bad side is pretty costly, and Tillerson couldn’t hold off.
Disagreements between the two started when Tillerson supposedly called Trump a “moron,” and there has been tension ever since. Trump is planning to replace Tillerson with CIA chief Mike Pompeo, therefore filling the CIA position with Senator Tom Cotton. Cotton is a Republican from Arkansas who brownnoses Trump on all issues domestic, including national security.
Cotton will be a breath of toxic air to the State department because of his previous threats to Iran, vowing to create a more “vicious” CIA agency. He also prides himself on being one of the most aggressive voices in Congress on matters of foreign policy, once claiming that the “only problem with Guantanamo Bay is there are too many empty beds and cells there right now.”
I just asked @realDonaldTrump if he wants Rex Tillerson to stay on the job. His answer: “he’s here. Rex is here (at the White House).”

Pompeo’s position is also questionable and is full of red flags for Muslim advocacy groups. His position of Muslim American leaders was negative and dangerous, and he blamed them for being “potentially complicit” in the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.
We are royally screwed.
Trump keeps surrounding himself with members of the military and State department and it’s unclear if it’s because he’s afraid or if he’s really really pushing a fascist agenda. I say it’s both.
Trump wants war. He needs it. And having people around him that can guide him with military strategies is the perfect start.
