Hype has been surrounding Robbie Fieg’s Kith sneaker collaboration with Nike in honor of LeBron James since their tease this September at NYFW Spring 2018. The collection, known as “Long Live the King,” is finally happening. Three new designs are dropping, including a reinterpretation of of the OG Lebron 15s as well as two other concepts. They will be releasing December 30th, which is also Lebron’s 33rd birthday.
The Lebron 15 remodel, which the man himself wore during a Christmas Day game, features a light pink base with cream accents and a notable rose gold zipper, which can be worn unzipped to show off the words “Kith x Nike x Lebron XV” and “Long Live the King” for added clout.
The other pairs, known as “lifestyle” versions of the Lebron 15s, come in multicolored or grey and black with straps that feature the “Long Live the King” emblem in cream and gold or black and grey, respectively.
Accompanying the shoes is a short film entitled, you guessed it, Long Live the King, which has clips of LeBron, Fiegs, and various imperative role models, as well as LeBron discussing the basketball superstar’s great legacy.
If you dig the king, the shoes will be available this Saturday, December 30th, at Kith stores or online at kith.com at midnight, for $200 (Lebron 15s) or $230 (for the lifestyle pairs).
