Taking cross-overs to a whole new level, Disney revealed that Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to 2012’s Wreck-It Ralph, will feature every Disney princess.
The first film featured multiple popular video game characters like Sonic, Pac-Man, and Bowser. In the trailer shown at the D23 Expo this weekend, Ralph and Vanellope enter the Internet and find themselves at the Disney website, which looks like a digital rendition of Disneyland, populated by all of the princesses as well as other Disney-owned characters like Iron Man, Dumbo, and C–3PO.
With the exception of Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora, all of the princesses will be voiced by their original actresses, including Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell from Frozen, Auli’i Cravalho from Moana, and Mandy Moore from Tangled.
Honestly, with all of the cameos Disney has had in the Marvel Universe this isn’t surprising. It’s honestly surprising that this hasn’t been done in a feature film already. No word yet on how the characters will relate to the heroines who aren’t actually princesses. That would be a fun dynamic to see in the film.
Ralph Breaks the Internet is set to premiere November 21, 2018.
