Ruth Wilson is the Caretaker of a Creepy Abode in Netflix’s ‘I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House’ Trailer

In Netflix’s upcoming horror flick I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, Ruth Wilson (The Affair) is hired as a live-in nurse for elderly author Iris Bloom, and she gradually comes to believe that Bloom’s latest novel is based on a real-life murder that Bloom committed in the house. A trailer is out today, and it looks like a cross between The Shining and Misery.

Bob Balaban also stars as a very Bob Balaban type, and the film is written and directed by Oz Perkins, who you may remember as “Dorky David” from Legally Blonde.

I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House premieres on Netflix in time for Halloween, this Friday, October 28.
