I would say she’s going to get fired for this, but there’s no way in hell Sansa Stark is going anywhere.
Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, just revealed that the final season everyone has been looking forward to won’t air until 2019. That means that there’s over a year and a half between season 7 and season 8.
Not cool, HBO.
In a new interview with Variety, Turner accidentally spilled the beans and said “Game of Thrones comes out in 2019.”
To make matters worse, the final season only has 6 episodes. So really, WTF?
Turner also spoke about Sansa Stark’s storyline:
“This season, there’s a new threat, and all of a sudden she finds herself somewhat back in the deep end. And without Littlefinger, it’s a test for her of whether she can get through it … This season is more a passionate fight for her than a political, manipulative kind of fight.”
