Assassin’s Creed is a video game about—you guessed it—assassins. But, not just any assassins, time-traveling assassins. The premise is this that there’s this sci-fi technology that allows the user to unlock the “genetic memories” of their ancestors. Turns out this guy, Callum Lynch, is descended from a mysterious secret society of assassins, so when he uses the machine, he’s able to relive the memories of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th century Spain. Action and violence ensue.
Stupid? Yes. Crazy? Yes. Totally awesome? Yes!
It’s the kind of premise that’s going to make a kick ass movie, if the trailers are anything to go by. The first trailer was released back in May, but the second one just dropped today.
