Software Glitch Causes Global Airport Check-In Meltdown

A glitch in the check-in software used by over 100 airlines caused long lines, delays, and a lot of angry tweets earlier today.

The software, made by Altea, is used by airlines all over the world. The issue appeared to be system-wide and affected travelers from London’s Heathrow Airport, Paris’s Charles de Gaulle, and D.C.’s Reagan International, among many others.
