Terry Crews’ Sexual Assault Case Against WME Has Been Rejected

Terry Crews recently filed a sexual-assault charge against the William Morris Endeavor talent agent Adam Venit, alleging that Venit groped his genitals at a party in February 2016. Owing, however, to the determination that the case was past the statute of limitations (which expires for misdemeanors after one year) the case was rejected by the L.A. Country city attorney.

The district attorney did not consider the alleged crime at the level of a felony, which would have made it within the statute of limitations. Venit, who denies these allegations, will not be charged. A civil suit is still pending against him however. Crews has since revealed that he has been forced to pay WME throughout the legal proceedings despite having dropped the agency, where Adam Venit remains with his job intact.
